Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016

The Qanoon-e-Shahadat Order, 1984 governs the admissibility of evidence. If a recording is made without the explicit consent of the other party, or if it violates their “legitimate expectation of privacy,” it is typically deemed inadmissible in court.
